It is really against my religion to make a soccer cake, but the requst was from my bestfriend and since it was'nt Liverpool and was'nt ManU I said ok. Researching something I knew nothing about I discovered; Bolton Wanderers has a lot of good looking players ;) GO BOLTON!!

I pledge alligance to the skateboard...

..and to all the calories that it contains.
This cake I made for one of the awsomest kids in the world for his 11th birthday.
I met him in the beginning of 2008 when I started working with him in school. This was the start of an amazing friendship and he has been one of my greatest inspirations for everything I'v done ever since.
He is allways in the back of my head whenever I'm working on anything creative and allways with me
whereever I go!
We have many of the same interest and when i got the clues for his cake; Skateboards, Green Day and U.S.A, it was allready made in my head... but that was in my head..
Putting this skateboard together was nervewracking, cause I had never done anything like this.. But with my B in art and craft from high school, some hardware tools and creative solutions I managed to pull it together.
My goal was for it to be shaped as a skateboard, but thought trucks and wheels were aming to high (as I allways do), since i'm kinda green..  Putting on the last wheel, just waiting for it to collapse.. and it did'nt.. AAAAWSOME feeling!
Delivering the cake, seeing Eirik as I stopped the car.. His eyes going big as baloons, screaming; SKATEBOARD CAKE!!  It acctually looked like his heart stopped for a second!
It was an amazing feeling giving away that cake! Did'nt think anybody could be that happy bout a cake.. Thought that was only on Ace of Cakes..haha :)
Congrats Eirik! Luv u mucho :)

Tractors are awsome!!..

..When you're a 2 year old boy tractors can be the world!!
This one was for a tractor lover turning 2.
The next day I got a picture from his mom, when the toddler met
the cake. And the face of that boy was priceless!
Those faces is one of the main reasons I love giving away cakes!

Sweeeeeeeet 16!!

Sweet 16's should be nothing but sweet, cause there's a lot of sour from that point and on (i'm being a living proof of that).. This order was for a not very 'pink girl', kinda soccergirl, but still girly. One of my hint was she liked blue.. so variety of blue than :)

This was something I came up with in the last minute for one of my co-workers in the kindergarden for her last day there. She was leaving us to start working in the local newspaper so this was "a good luck on writing awsomly"-cake to her:)

No stress.. gah..

This was kindakinda a rush order..
I like getting the orders a little week ahead, so they can boil in my brain and get ready in there before they get out.. This I had 2 days to plan, bake and make and my only clues on the birthday girl was that she was turning 25 and she was'nt a pink girly girl.. but girly.. but not like supergirly.. she worked in a kindergarden and liked the colour blue.. oh well?! So this was the result..
Got an e-mail from her after.. or acctually in the middle of her birthday party telling me she was very exited about the cake :) Birthday girl happy = Inger Happy!!

EyeCandy 2..

Also a little thing for the display window.
This one is the size of the palm of my hand

Sweet 4 the Sweetest..

For my mom on her 55th birthday!
She is the biggest MMF-lover and wanted a cake to take to work so everyone could taste the wonderfulism she had been talking about ;)

Upside down!

So I took the traditional norwegian "Kranse-cake" (or the by danish tradition; the redundancy horn) and turned it upside down, filled it with buttercream rose decorated cupcakes and made a
Kranse-vase"!
The order was not for it to be a vase, but the order was for a GardnerMiss turning 70, sooo figured that it would be cool, and the birthday girl was very happy with it ;)

EyeCandy..

                                         HAHA.. Dont be fooled!
It's acctually a MMF decorated gingercookie box.
It's made for a display window at Jernia in K-Town. Not made for eating;)

I Love chocolate! Yes I do!!

Delfia cake! Chocolate from A to Z!
A HUGE Chocolate bar made of all my favorite chocolates.
